Maybe Marqas can tell you about Philly but in Chicago the big Indo-Pak neighborhood (by Devon Ave) has alot of small masajids, restaurants, Islamic bookstores.
Other parts of the city might have concentrations of Muslims too.
Chicago is pretty segregated so there are many different ethnic neighborhoods, including Arab and Indo-Pak.
